Lynn Classical entered their tilt with Somerville on Thursday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. Everything went their way against the Somerville Highlanders as they made off with a 63-43 win. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while the Highlanders are ranked 254th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lynn Classical's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.5 points per game. As for Somerville, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lynn Classical will challenge Chelsea at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Somerville, they are taking a road trip to face off against Revere at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
