Preview: Polytech Panthers vs. Seaford Bluejays
The Polytech Panthers will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Seaford Bluejays at 7:00 p.m. Polytech is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
Polytech had a rough season last year, but they look ready to turn that poor record around this year. They secured a 30-24 W over Conrad Science on Saturday.
Polytech's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Noah Walker, who rushed for 222 yards and a touchdown. Walker's longest rush was for an incredible 73 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Balcerak, who threw for 64 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes.
Meanwhile, Seaford came up short against Brandywine on Friday and fell 14-7. Seaford has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Polytech's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Seaford, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Polytech took a serious blow against Seaford when the teams last played back in September of 2022, falling 50-13. Will Polytech have more luck at home instead of on the road?
