Baseball Game Preview: Foxborough Warriors vs. Seekonk Warriors

Foxborough will face off against Seekonk at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

If Foxborough beats Seekonk with nine runs on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. The Warriors blew past East Bridgewater 9-1 on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Seekonk). Everything went their way against Bourne on Wednesday as they made off with a 16-6 win. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Canalmen recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Greyson Baldizar, who went 3-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and one triple. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Johnny Payne, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

Seekonk hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bourne struck out eight times.

Seekonk now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Foxborough, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
