Soccer Recap: Midland Valley Takes a Loss

Midland Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the North Augusta Yellow Jackets, falling 4-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against North Augusta this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 two weeks ago.

Midland Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for North Augusta, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-9-1 record this season.

Midland Valley will square off against Aiken at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Augusta, they will challenge South Aiken at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. North Augusta's defense better be ready for this one: South Aiken have averaged an impressive 3.5 goals per game this season.
