Baseball Recap: Bradford Prep Takes a Loss

Bradford Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 8-1 to the Christ the King Crusaders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 last Tuesday.

Bradford Prep saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brodie Smith, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI. Mike Agnello also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Bradford Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Christ the King, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-4.

Bradford Prep wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 18-4 defeat against Lincoln Charter on the 18th. As for Christ the King, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Metrolina Christian Academy on the 17th.
