Volleyball Recap: Skyridge Falls Short Against Ranked Westlake

Skyridge faced Westlake in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Falcons lost 3-0 to the Thunder. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Thunder this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 on April 8th.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-12, 25-20.

Skyridge's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Westlake, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Skyridge will square off against American Fork at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons are facing the Cavemen at the right time seeing as the Cavemen are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Westlake, they will face off against West Jordan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
