Soccer Recap: Clay-Chalkville Takes a Loss

Clay-Chalkville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Gardendale Rockets. That's two games in a row now that Clay-Chalkville have lost by exactly two goals.

Their goal came courtesy of Jose Ramos, who's now up to ten this season.

Clay-Chalkville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Gardendale, they pushed their record up to 14-5-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Clay-Chalkville wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 4-2 loss against St. Clair County on the 15th. As for Gardendale, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-2 draw against Vestavia Hills on the 15th.
