Volleyball Recap: Pierre T.F. Riggs Comes Up Short on the Road Against Watertown

Pierre T.F. Riggs had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Watertown Arrows. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, 25-6.

Leading Watertown to victory were Andi Olson and Kynsee Russell. Olson had 14 digs, while Russell had 36 assists and 12 digs. Those 14 digs gave Olson a new career-high.

Pierre T.F. Riggs has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Stevens on the 29th. As for Watertown, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Washington on the 28th.
