After a string of three wins, Garfield's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saddle Brook Falcons. The Boilermakers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Falcons earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-21.

Garfield's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Saddle Brook, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Garfield will host Elmwood Park at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Saddle Brook, they will face off against Ramsey at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
