Softball Recap: Upper St. Clair Panthers vs. West Allegheny Indians

Upper St. Clair was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the West Allegheny Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 two weeks ago.

Upper St. Clair saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caroline Barnard, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Upper St. Clair now has a losing record of 5-6. As for West Allegheny, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
