Baseball Recap: Apple Springs Takes a Loss

Apple Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Hemphill Hornets, falling 19-9.

Kane Dugat was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-5. Another player making a difference was Peyton Williams, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Even though they lost, Apple Springs always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .553. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March of 2024.
