Volleyball Recap: Piqua Indians vs. Xenia Buccaneers
Piqua was the 3-1 winner over Xenia when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buccaneers on Tuesday.
While Piqua ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 27-29, 25-20, 25-17.
Megan Hull paced Piqua's offense, picking up eight kills. Hull got some help from Abigail Kirk and her 22 assists. Megan Gebhart and Riley Baker kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.
