Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hackleburg). They put the hurt on the Phillips Bears with a sharp 21-0 win on Tuesday. Considering the Panthers have won 11 contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Ellie Nichols made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, Saylor Cooper and Braylynn Pope did most of the damage at the plate: Cooper went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Pope went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Raegan Pharr also deserves some recognition as she got her first hits of the season.
