Basketball Recap: Petoskey Comes Up Short

Petoskey lost against Spring Lake back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Petoskey Northmen were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 64-63 to the Spring Lake Lakers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (55), the Northmen still had to take the loss.

Petoskey's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Spring Lake, they pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Petoskey will take on Elk Rapids at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Spring Lake, they will challenge Holland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
