Softball Recap: Great Mills Comes Up Short

Great Mills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 15-3 to the Chopticon Braves. That's two games in a row now that the Hornets have lost by exactly 12 runs.

Olivia Quinn was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Great Mills' defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Chopticon, their win bumped their record up to 16-1.

Great Mills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chopticon, they will take on Huntingtown at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hurricanes will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Braves surely won't give up without a fight.
