Basketball Recap: Sterling Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

Sterling lost to Gloucester City back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Sterling Silver Knights walked away with a 55-45 win over the Gloucester City Lions. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Silver Knights.

When it comes to explaining why Gloucester City lost, don't look at Keegan Cohan. Despite the final result, he went 5 for 9 en route to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Smith, who posted nine points and six rebounds.

Sterling's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.4 points per game. As for Gloucester City, their record is now 11-3.
