As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kimmins has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Taiylor Sanchez, who scored five points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage was the victim of a rough 58-33 loss at the hands of Coleville on Thursday.
Mineral County's defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage, their loss dropped their record down to 0-14.
Mineral County was able to grind out a solid victory over Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage when the teams last played last Monday, winning 27-20. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mineral County since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
