Flag Football Game Preview: South Garner Titans vs. Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs

The South Garner Titans will face off against the Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (South Garner 4, Southeast Raleigh 7.1) so any points scored will be well earned.

South Garner is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of North Carolina's top teams: Fuquay - Varina, who was ranked 16th at the time (South Garner was ranked 13th). The Titans fell just short of the Bengals by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The Titans' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, in a tight contest that could have gone either way, Southeast Raleigh made off with a 13-12 victory over Cary. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

The win got Southeast Raleigh back to even at 5-5. As for South Garner, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.

South Garner barely slipped by Southeast Raleigh in their previous matchup back in September, winning 1-0. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
