Basketball Recap: Milano Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Losses at Home

There's no place like home for Milano, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 52-41 victory over the Rosebud-Lott Cougars on Friday. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 83-48 win the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2020.

Despite the defeat, Rosebud-Lott saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Pryce Rabroker dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten boards. Rabroker is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kaiden Johnson, who posted five points and three steals.

Milano's victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 6-14. As for Rosebud-Lott, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing McDade the next time they take the court. Milano will host McDade at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Rosebud-Lott will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
