Basketball Recap: Whitehouse Comes Up Short

Whitehouse was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 62-38 to the Tyler Lions. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 332nd, while the Lions are ranked 64th).

Whitehouse's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Tyler, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Whitehouse Wildcats challenge the Hallsville Bobcats at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Tyler, they will venture away from home to face off against Nacogdoches at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
