Volleyball Recap: Carolina International Takes a Loss

Carolina International lost against Piedmont Community Charter back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Comets came up short against the Patriots, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-17, 25-14.

Carolina International has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season. As for Piedmont Community Charter, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

While Carolina International had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
