Recap: Bloomburg Wildcats vs. Longview Christian
The Bloomburg Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They fell just short of Longview Christian by a score of 46-44. That's two games in a row now that Bloomburg has lost by exactly two points.
Leading Longview Christian to victory were Marcus Cammack and Oscar Adame. Cammack scored 16 points, while Adame dropped a double-double on ten points and 17 rebounds. Adame is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Judah Sandel, who scored five points along with three steals.
Bloomburg's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Longview Christian, their win bumped their record up to 2-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bloomburg and Harts Bluff will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Harts Bluff will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. Longview Christian will be home for the holidays to greet Athens Christian Preparatory Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Athens Christian Preparatory Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 213 points over their last three games.
