Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Padua Franciscan). They never let the Beaumont School Blue Streaks get on the board and left with an 18-0 win on Monday. The victory was nothing new for the Bruins as they're now sitting on four straight.

Padua Franciscan now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Beaumont School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Padua Franciscan will challenge Lake Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.75 runs per game on average), something the Bruins will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Beaumont School, they will square off against Holy Name at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Streaks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Green Wave have averaged an impressive 9.9 runs per game this season.
