Baseball Game Preview: Central Tigers vs. Cabot Panthers

For the second straight game, Central will face off against Cabot. The Tigers will welcome the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Central: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Cabot has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.

Central is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 14 runs on Monday, they were much more limited against Cabot on Tuesday. They lost 8-2 to the Panthers.

For Cabot's part, Jacob Murray was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases Murray has posted since back in April.

Cabot's victory bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-13.
