Baseball Recap: Ferris Comes Up Short

Ferris suffered their biggest defeat since February 24th on Saturday. They came up short against the Castleberry Lions, falling 10-2. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ky Creek made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Jose Martinez also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Ferris' loss dropped their record down to 3-5-3. As for Castleberry, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ferris will take on Hillsboro at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Castleberry, they will challenge Decatur at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
