Baseball Recap: Twin Rivers Takes a Loss

Twin Rivers came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Neelyville Tigers, falling 12-1. The Royals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Twin Rivers has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-3 record this season. As for Neelyville, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Twin Rivers will venture away from home to square off against Poplar Bluff at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Neelyville, they will take on Malden at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
