After having lost a blowout in their previous game against R-S Central, West Caldwell was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Hibriten Panthers 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Panthers back in September, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was West Caldwell who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-22, 20-25, 25-22, 18-25, 17-15.

West Caldwell moved to 5-16 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for Hibriten, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-17.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. West Caldwell is set to challenge their familiar foe R-S Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Hibriten will square off against rival Draughn at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
