Basketball Recap: Crossroads Charter Academy Gets the Win

Crossroads Charter Academy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They slipped by West Michigan Aviation Academy 39-38. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in February.

Crossroads Charter Academy's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.2 points per game. As for West Michigan Aviation Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Crossroads Charter Academy Cougars challenge the Baldwin Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. West Michigan Aviation Academy will take on Algoma Christian in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
