Torrey Pines piles up the points against San Dieguito Academy

The Torrey Pines Falcons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat San Dieguito Academy 84-32 on the road. Torrey Pines has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 24 points or more this season.
Torrey Pines' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Matin Madadkar led the charge by scoring 17 points along with five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Cody Shen, who scored 16 points along with three steals.
Torrey Pines' win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for San Dieguito Academy, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.
Torrey Pines will head out on the road to challenge Sage Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sage Creek will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. San Dieguito Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against La Jolla at 7:00 p.m. on January 13th. La Jolla presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than San Dieguito Academy in California (La Jolla is ranked 374th, while San Dieguito Academy is ranked 808th).
