Flag Football Recap: Johnson Triumphs

Johnson got themselves on the board against Savannah on Tuesday, but Savannah never followed suit. They enjoyed a cozy 15-0 victory over the Bluejackets. The Atomsmashers were shut out 6-0 the last time they took on the Bluejackets, so the Atomsmashers were just returning the favor.

The critical scores for Johnson came from Kamori Johnson and Alona Hunt.

Johnson's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Savannah, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Johnson will be playing in front of their home fans against Savannah Arts Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Atomsmashers 15, the Panthers 7.8) so any points scored will be well earned. Savannah has already played their next game (against St. Vincent's), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
