Rifle is 7-2 against Roaring Fork since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bears will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rams at 6:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Rifle and three for Roaring Fork.

Rifle saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Baden Phillips, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Gunnison hit Roaring Fork with a four-run sixth inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Rams lost 12-6 to the Cowboys. While the Rams didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cowboys 4-0 in the first period.

Rifle now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Roaring Fork, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-13.

Rifle took their win against Roaring Fork in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 12-0 score. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
