Volleyball Recap: Triangle Math & Science Tigers vs. Woods Charter Wolves        
        
		
             Triangle Math & Science was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They came up short against  the Woods Charter Wolves, falling  3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the  3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in September.
 Triangle Math & Science may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored eight points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-8,  25-8.
 Woods Charter was led to victory by  Cecilia Brignati and  Maya Sheridan.  Brignati  had five  aces, a  kill,  and 30  assists, while  Sheridan  hit 100% for 12  kills17  aces and 14  digs. Sheridan is  on a roll when it comes to  kills, as she's  now  had five or more in the last 22 games she's  played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kori Myers, who  had seven  digs and four  aces.
 Triangle Math & Science's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Woods Charter, the  win was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-5.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Triangle Math & Science will play host again  on Thursday to welcome Ascend Leadership, where the match is scheduled  at 5:00  p.m. Ascend Leadership is coming into the  game with five straight  defeats on the road,  meaning Triangle Math & Science will have to defend against a  team hungry for a  victory. As for Woods Charter, they will challenge Clover Garden School at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
