Soccer Recap: Lowell Falls to Hanover Central in First Game of Season

Lowell unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell 4-2 to the Hanover Central Wildcats on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for Lowell in their meetings with Hanover Central: they've now lost six in a row.

Camille Joppek and Ashley Mecha scored both of Lowell's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Coming up, Lowell will challenge Hammond Bishop Noll at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hanover Central, they will take on Griffith at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
