Volleyball Recap: Plainfield Takes a Loss

Plainfield lost against Elizabeth back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cardinals fell 2-0 to the Minutemen. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Cardinals were not able to get on the board.

Plainfield's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Elizabeth, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plainfield will venture away from home to take on Linden at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Elizabeth, they will head out to challenge Union at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Minutemen are facing the Farmers at the right time seeing as the Farmers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
