Gilbert Christian faced Campo Verde in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Knights came out on top against the Coyotes by a score of 2-0. The victory was just business as usual for the Knights, who after seven games remain undefeated this season.

Alexia Heyn paced Gilbert Christian's offense, picking up ten kills. Heyn got some help from Sidney Loth and her 21 assists. Heyn was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Gilbert Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Campo Verde, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.

Campo Verde wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Show Low on the 30th. Hopefully Gilbert Christian paid attention to the Coyotes' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Coyotes at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday.
