Football Recap: Boonton Bombers vs. New Providence Pioneers        
        
		
             It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Boonton can now relate to. They lost  49-24 to the New Providence Pioneers on Saturday. The Bombers have now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 When it comes to explaining why Boonton lost, don't look at  Sylas White. Despite the final result, he rushed for 113 yards, and also picked up 52 receiving yards and a touchdown. White's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 103  rushing yards.  Drew Cabalar handled things on the ground, rushing for 86 yards.
 Even though they lost, Boonton was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 230  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 195  rushing yards in 13 consecutive  matchups  dating back to last season.
 Boonton's loss  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 6-4. As for New Providence, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record  this season.
 Boonton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for New Providence, they will face off against Hasbrouck Heights on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Hasbrouck Heights comes in on five and New Providence on three.
