Basketball Recap: Broadwater Academy Takes a Loss

Broadwater Academy played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks, falling 78-25. The Vikings were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 60-19.

Broadwater Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grayson Ross, who posted 11 points. Noah Pruitt was another key player, putting up seven points.

Broadwater Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Atlantic Shores Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Broadwater Academy will head out to take on Gateway Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Broadwater Academy is facing Gateway Christian at the right time seeing as Gateway Christian is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Atlantic Shores Christian, they will challenge Hampton Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
