Salem is a perfect 10-0 against Cave Spring since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Meanwhile, Cave Spring had just enough and edged out Blacksburg 15-12 on Friday.

Salem's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Cave Spring, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Everything came up roses for Salem against Cave Spring when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 68-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
