Basketball Recap: Gilmer Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Gilmer, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They strolled past the Pine Tree Pirates with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 52-38. This was a revenge game for the Buckeyes: when they faced off against the Pirates back in December of 2024, they had to take a 71-43 defeat.

Gilmer pushed their record up to 6-21 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for Pine Tree, their loss dropped their record down to 16-9.
