Softball Recap: South Salem Comes Up Short

South Salem was the 4-1 winner over Roseburg when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. South Salem came up short against Roseburg on Tuesday, falling 11-1. The Saxons just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row dating back to last season.

South Salem saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abigail Hennan, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

South Salem's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Roseburg, the win keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Coincidentally, South Salem and Roseburg will both be playing Century the next time they take the field. South Salem will head out to face Century at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Roseburg will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
