Pine Ridge can bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Mainland Buccaneers as they made off with a 13-3 victory. Considering the Panthers' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Pine Ridge picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-11. As for Mainland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-6-1.

Looking ahead, Pine Ridge will square off against Taylor at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mainland will be paying especially close attention to the Panthers' game: after the Panthers face off against Crescent City, they'll take on Mainland again at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
