Basketball Recap: Oakland-Craig Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Oakland-Craig put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Winnebago Indians by a score of 57-47. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 56-52 loss the last time these two teams met.

Oakland-Craig was led to victory by Braylon Anderson and Corbin Guill. Anderson went 9 for 13 on his way to 22 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists, while Guill almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine boards. The matchup was Anderson's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Druckenmiller, who posted seven points.

Oakland-Craig smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Oakland-Craig pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points per game. As for Winnebago, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Oakland-Craig will welcome Wisner-Pilger at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Oakland-Craig is facing Wisner-Pilger at the right time seeing as Wisner-Pilger is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Winnebago and Kuemper will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Kuemper's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
