Baseball Recap: Cedar Valley Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Cedar Valley was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They came up short against the Orem Tigers, falling 16-1. The Aviators were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 11-6.

Cedar Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Johnson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Cedar Valley has also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season. As for Orem, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Cedar Valley nor Orem have any future games scheduled.
