Soccer Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Hanford

Hanford kept a clean sheet against Atascadero on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Atascadero Greyhounds out 1-0. Given the Bullpups' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Greyhounds are ranked 148th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hanford's one-goal win came courtesy of Jaya Laird, who's now up to six this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Hanford, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. As for Atascadero, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3-1.
