Softball Recap: Archbishop Hannan Comes Up Short

Archbishop Hannan fell victim to Catholic of Pointe Coupee and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets. The loss continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the Hornets: they've now lost three in a row.

Archbishop Hannan's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Catholic of Pointe Coupee, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Archbishop Hannan will head out to challenge Loranger at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Catholic of Pointe Coupee, they will be playing at home against Slaughter Community Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
