Lingle-Fort Laramie had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took down the Little Snake River Rattlers 59-45 on Friday. The Doggers' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Lingle-Fort Laramie was led to victory by Brody Roberts and Brady Cook. Roberts almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards, while Cook almost dropped a double-double with 14 rebounds and nine assists. Roberts is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 47% in the last 17 games he's played. Elijah Hatch was another key player, putting up 11 points.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Lingle-Fort Laramie was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. They racked up 11 more assists than Little Snake River's also-impressive total of 12.

Despite the loss, Little Snake River saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Tymber Cozzens shot 50% from the field on his way to 15 points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was Granit Ready, who posted eight points and five rebounds.

Lingle-Fort Laramie's victory bumped their record up to 27-0. As for Little Snake River, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-7.

Lingle-Fort Laramie didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 41-32 win against Upton on the 8th. As for Little Snake River, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 54-44 loss against Niobrara County on the 8th.
