Basketball Recap: Chatham Comes Up Short

Chatham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a hard 47-30 fall against the Maple Hill Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-27 back in January.

Chatham's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Maple Hill, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chatham will challenge Coxsackie-Athens at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Maple Hill, they will take on Cairo-Durham at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
