Soccer Recap: Griffith Beats Wheeler for Their Second Straight Victory

It was a proper cat-fight when Griffith duked it out with Wheeler on Thursday. The Panthers never let the Bearcats get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. Considering Griffith have won three games by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Wheeler with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Emmanuel Balderas, Diego Moyo, and Jared Avalos.

The win made it two in a row for Griffith and bumps their season record up to 4-4. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for Wheeler, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
