Softball Recap: Monte Vista Christian Takes a Loss

Monte Vista Christian fell victim to Pacific Grove and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 8-0 to the Breakers. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Breakers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Monte Vista Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayla Fullalove-Silveira, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Monte Vista Christian now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Pacific Grove, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

Coincidentally, Monte Vista Christian and Pacific Grove will both be playing Rancho San Juan the next time they take the field. The Breakers will host the Trailblazers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Mustangs will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
