Lewis hadn't done well against Justice recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Lancers snuck past the Wolves with a 44-40 victory. This was a revenge game for the Lancers: when they faced off against the Wolves back in January, they had to take a 49-33 defeat.

Lewis' win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Justice, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lewis will head out to face off against Hayfield at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks will roll in looking for their 17th straight victory, something the Lancers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Justice, they are taking a road trip to square off against Falls Church at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
